Prisoners of Hope
In the ancient days the kings would go out to war and to capture cities and they would keep those that they captured and make them prisoners of their country. In effect they made them prisoners of hopelessness. Never to see freedom to be in bondage to slavery to build somebody else's' buildings to cook somebody else's' food to clean somebody else's' house. Prisoners of hopelessness never having their own home, never having their own freedom, their children taken away from them – violently at times.
But I say to you many of my people have felt that same way, you have felt as though you were a prisoner of hopelessness. You've felt as though you've had no freedom for yourself. You've felt as though you have been in bondage for such a long time you don't know if you'll ever be free. You have given up hope of ever being free, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, financially. You have been like a prisoner of hopelessness .
But I say to you I am the conquering king, the king of all kings and I have come to undo what other kings have done. Kings of poverty, kings of hopelessness, kings of slavery, kings of sickness, kings of emotional illness and sicknesses. I have come to set you free saith the Lord.
Indeed you are already free in the spirit but you have been lied to and deceived and told you are not free. You have been told you are still a slave, you have been told you belong to somebody else except the Lord Jesus Christ. But I say, I have come and I have set you free and you are now a prisoner of hope. You are no longer a prisoner of hopelessness, you are a prisoner of hope.
And I say, you look all around you at the world today and you see wars and rumors of wars, you see nation rising up against nation you see illness and sickness and famine, and you see dictators destroying their own country for their own power, for their own wealth, and their own well-being and they ignore their own citizens. And you look at your own country in America and you say “ we are going down the tubes quick.”
You look at our culture and you say it is going down hill, we have lost our bearings we have lost our sense of who we are. But I say to you, there is always hope.
There is always hope in the Lord.
Do not put your eyes here on the flesh, do not put your eyes on the outward circumstances neither of your own life nor of your nation or of the world.
For I am the king of kings and the earth is the Lords' and the fullness thereof and all the peoples of the earth belong to me. The world system belongs to Satan, but the world and the people that are in the world and the trees and all that is created is mine because I am the creator.
And I tell you there is always hope.
Do not give up hope and I am coming now to restore hope in my people. I am gonna restore an expectation of something good to happen to this generation. For you are going to see miracles you are going to see my power displayed as never before. The children of Israel were in Egypt and they had lost all hope of freedom, they had lost all hope of having their own land again. Indeed they had forgotten the covenant of their God, but I did not forget my covenant. And I made a covenant through Jesus Christ, that the earth would be full of the glory of the Lord. That the knowledge of the glory of the Lord would cover the earth as the waters do the sea. And I'm about to pour out my spirit upon the whole earth as it has never been seen before. The earth shall be filled with my glory, the earth shall be filled with my presence.
Yea before I return, my presence shall inhabit this earth as has never been seen before. Cause I will give a witness to people about my goodness and my kindness and my love for them before I return because I am not willing that any should perish but all should come to repentance.
And I tell you do not set your eyes upon the darkness, and the hopelessness. I say set your eyes upon your hope, Jesus Christ. Set your eyes upon your hope - Christ in you the hope of glory. Set your eyes upon the city whose builder and maker is God. Set your eyes upon the kingdom of God for that is what is coming to inhabit this earth saith the Lord.
I will not forsake the people of the earth as some have taught, but I will come and have mercy and I will fulfill my word within the earth. Before I return I will cause there to be many souls saved, many nations will come to the Lord. In a day, nations are gonna come to the Lord, saith the Lord your God.
So I say, today, come out of that mentality that you are a prisoner of hopelessness. No, you are my prisoner.
You are a prisoner of hope.
And I say that the hope that is coming to the nations of the earth is upon you. For the hope that come to the nations is for people. For people to know my power, for people to know my prosperity, for people to know my healing, for people to know my kindness and my goodness and my patience and my longsuffering. And my willingness to show mercy to all generations saith the Lord. Come to me all ye that are weary and heavy laden, I have made you a prisoner of hope, saith the Lord.
