I Corinthians 9:11-14 KJV
11 Since we have planted spiritual seed among you, aren�t we entitled to a harvest of physical food and drink? 12 If you support others who preach to you, shouldn�t we have an even greater right to be supported? But we have never used this right. We would rather put up with anything than be an obstacle to the Good News about Christ. 13 Don�t you realize that those who work in the temple get their meals from the offerings brought to the temple? And those who serve at the altar get a share of the sacrificial offerings. 14 In the same way, the Lord ordered that those who preach the Good News should be supported by those who benefit from it (NLT )
I know the Lord has called me to share the spiritual gifts and teachings He has placed within me, however at the same time, I also am also a photographer and a musician, both of which are incredibly and surprisingly time consuming and hard work; it took well over a year to compose and edit the album alone , my photography has taken years to shoot,edit and compile so I will eventually be offering both for sale and paying taxes on that. I will also be offering links to commercial shopping sites (as an affiliate) as another source of income to pay my bills and fund this stewardship. Initially I will be receiving donations and offering the affiliate links and then add the music and photography for sale as quickly as I am able to do so. Having said all that , after you have examined the site and you have a good witness of peace about this stewardship and you would rather donate than buy something, then you are more than welcome and free to do that also.
There are five reasons why I've chosen to operate in this fashion
- The Lord called me to ministry years ago and has been preparing me through education, trials, pressure, success, failure and learning to walk by faith in His faithfulness. I am still learning ( aren't we all ) but I believe, and have been assured through confirmation, that it is time for me to be released into the Lords work ordained for me from before I was ever born. I used to have a cleaning business in Phoenix Arizona but became disabled in 2002, and while I have been believing for total restoration of my health, I'm still not where I want to or need to be physically. You'll be able to read and/or hear more about this as I post my testimony to the site.

While I am not opposed to ministries biblically receiving donations ( the exception being those ministries that manipulate the scripture and peoples emotions and faith in order to raise money ) I personally feel better about myself if I can work with my own hands and/or creative talents and offer a service to people and be a blessing in that manner, as well as offering spiritual blessings through the ministry of the Holy Spirit and Word of God.

I'm like most other people i.e. I enjoy having a roof over my head, and I like eating chicken too !!!!!
I heard a wise and honest preacher ( Yes they do still exist !!!!! ) say once that the Lord taught him not to stress about money to fund certain parts of the stewardship he had been given. Because if the Lord wanted him to do something or go somewhere that He would provide and if the Lord did not bring the money then he was to take that as a signal that it was either not the time for that ministry or that the Lord was saying no. It did not mean it was the end of his stewardship but only that the Lord was saying wait and believe or was directing his work in another direction. I hope to pattern this portion of my life and ministry after that example.
