Acts 18: 1-3 KJV
1 Then Paul left Athens and went to Corinth. 2 There he became acquainted with a Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, who had recently arrived from Italy with his wife, Priscilla. They had left Italy when Claudius Caesar deported all Jews from Rome. 3 Paul lived and worked with them, for they were tentmakers, just as he was.
I Corinthians 9:11-14 KJV
11 Since we have planted spiritual seed among you, arent we entitled to a harvest of physical food and drink? 12 If you support others who preach to you, shouldnt we have an even greater right to be supported? But we have never used this right. We would rather put up with anything than be an obstacle to the Good News about Christ. 13 Dont you realize that those who work in the temple get their meals from the offerings brought to the temple? And those who serve at the altar get a share of the sacrificial offerings. 14 In the same way, the Lord ordered that those who preach the Good News should be supported by those who benefit from it (NLT )
I know the Lord has called me to share the spiritual gifts and teachings He has placed within me, however at the same time, I also am also a photographer and a musician, both of which are incredibly and surprisingly time consuming and hard work; it took well over a year to compose and edit the album alone , my photography has taken years to shoot, edit and compile so I will eventually be offering both for sale and paying taxes on that. I will also be offering links to commercial shopping sites (as an affiliate) as another source of income to pay my bills and fund this stewardship. Initially I will be receiving donations and offering the affiliate links and then add the music and photography for sale as quickly as I am able to do so. Having said all that , after you have examined the site and you have a good witness of peace about this stewardship and you would rather donate than buy something, then you are more than welcome and free to do that also.
